(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GENEVA, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Ghebreyesus lauded Kuwait's healthcare system on Wednesday, saying it has enjoyed great success in fighting non-communicable diseases through effective treatment and preventive measures.
Kuwait has made great efforts in a bid to boost its healthcare system, the WHO chief told the country's permanent representative to the United Nations and other international bodies Nasser Al-Hein during talks.
The Kuwaiti diplomat praised his country's 'exceptional' rapport with WHO, saying bilateral cooperation has been fruitful across numerous fields. (end)
