IME one week commodities exchange exceeds USD813M


(MENAFN) Throughout the last Iranian calendar week (which closed on Friday), Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) saw exchange of 2,077,181 tons of goods as well as 10,155 vehicles with an overall exchange amount of over USD813 million on its physical market.

According to what was reported by the IME’s Public Relations and International Affairs Department, the exchange traded on its metals and minerals selling floor 1,715,839 tons of goods worth at over USD597 million.

On this floor the IME compensated 860,447 tons of cement, 440,000 tons of iron ore, 356,207 tons of steel, 42,000 tons of sponge iron, 9,125 tons of aluminum, 8,500 tons of copper, 1,625 tons of zinc, 200 tons of molybdenum concentrate, 13 kg of gold bars as well as 10,155 automobiles.

Additionally, the IME saw on the two local and shipment sides of its oil and petrochemical exchange floor 357,301 tons of goods valued at nearly USD211 million.
