Iraqi exchange delegation takes trip to Iran to see cooperation prospects


(MENAFN) A delegation consisted of entrepreneurs from Iraq’s Kurdistan area and Najaf Chamber of Commerce took a trip Iran and joined a business meeting on Monday to study collaboration prospects with their Iranian fellows.

According to reports by the portal of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), in the meeting, which was arranged by the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, both parties talked about methods of reinforcing the level of ties and establishing additional communication lines for the growth of exchange and investment.

The Iraqi delegation was consisted of the officials of firms operating in a variety of sectors such as general exchange, tourism as well as hotel management, textiles, steel, metal output, flour and wheat, poultry, foodstuff, plastic industry, in addition to drinking water.

Following capital Tehran, the delegation is planned to take trip to Khorramabad in Lorestan Province to measure the volumes of the province for joint collaboration.
