East Azarbaijan ships USD1.13B value of non-oil commodities in 9 months


(MENAFN) As declared by a provincial official, non-oil goods worth USD1.13 billion were shipped from East Azarbaijan province, in the northwest of Iran, throughout the initial nine months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-Decemebr 21, 2022).

Saber Parnian, the chief of the province’s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, stated that minerals and mining industries outputs constituted for the biggest stake of the shipment from the province in the stated period.

He recorded the value of shipment from the stated industry at USD426 million, with a 13.7 percent expansion on a yearly basis.

He also stated that 1,276 types of outputs were shipped to 98 nations from the province in the opening nine months of this year and stated that the following nations Turkey, Iraq, Armenia, United Arab Emirates, as well as Georgia as the main shipment destinations.

The chief of the province’s Industry, Mining, and Trade Department also stated that Yemen, Ethiopia, Indonesia, New Zealand, as well as Venezuela as some of the additional shipment markets of East Azarbaijan outputs.
