(MENAFN) Journalist Jefferson Morley has stated that the CIA is hiding proof showing it was aware Lee Harvey Oswald, the "lone gunman" who is accused of killing then-United States President John F. Kennedy in 1963, was involved in anti-Cuban covert operations just months before to the assassination.
The agency was not only aware of his activities, but they also chose not to inform the Warren Commission, the purportedly impartial panel tasked with looking into Kennedy's assassination. At a press conference hosted by the Mary Ferrell Foundation on Monday, renowned JFK researcher Morley claimed that they even went so far as to deny having any knowledge of them at all.
He also mentioned that “what the CIA is hiding is what they’ve always hidden, which is their sources and methods as they relate to Lee Harvey Oswald.” Noting that “we’re talking about smoking-gun proof of a CIA operation involving Lee Harvey Oswald.”
