Leader: Islamic Revolution altered culture of infatuation with the West
(MENAFN) President of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei welcomed the associates of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking around gathering joined by leader Ebrahim Raisi, Ayatollah Khamenei took a strike at those who are devoted to Western culture.
The Islamic Revolution believed the culture of "infatuation with the West" and even the use of foreign words to be additional false cultural statement ruling the society, and the Islamic Revolution altered this false declaration and turned it into a culture of "objection to the West", the president commented.
In the gathering, the President highlighted the necessity for the “revolutionary reconstruction of the country’s cultural structure,” as reported by state news IRNA.
“The Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution should provide scientific solutions for the spread of correct and forward-moving statements by observing and knowing the weaknesses and false statements of culture in different fields,” Ayatollah Khamenei recommended.
