Turkish shares opens Wednesday unaffected


(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index started at 5.001,97 points on Wednesday, surging 0.04 percent, or 1.83 points, from the prior end.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was 0.85 percent higher to end Tuesday at 5,000.14 points, with a day to day exchange capacity of 114 billion Turkish liras (USD6.09 billion).

The US dollar/Turkish lira selling price reached 18.6401 at 10.09 A M regional time (0709GMT), the euro/lira exchange price reached an amount of 19.4888, whereas a British pound exchanged for 22.6047 liras.

International main Brent crude exchanged at USD79.72 a barrel at 08.31 PM regional time (17:31 GMT), dropping 3.58 percent from the ending price of USD82.68 per barrel in the prior exchanging session.

At the same time, American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) sold at USD74.41 a barrel, a 3.27 percent decrease following the prior session ended at USD76.93 per barrel.
