(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Several private houses have been destroyed in the village of Novosofiivka, Zaporizhzhia region, with emergency services working at the scene. Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said this in a post on telegram , Ukrinform reports.

According to Tymoshenko, the State Emergency Service and an ambulance are working at the scene.
He later added that two people had been killed and two others injured in the attack.
Earlier, Anatolii Kurtiev, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, confirmed the sound of explosions in the city. According to him, some of them are echoes of enemy hits in the city suburbs, and others are the result of the successful work of the Ukrainian air defense forces.
