Ministry Of Culture Holds Tunisian And Syrian Community Days

Doha: The Ministry of Culture organised, as part of the“Cultural Diversity of Communities” activities held on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Tunisian Community Day, which was marked by a rich programme that reflects the cultural diversity that characterises this country.

The Tunisian community's celebration, which was hosted by the Al Sulaiti House in Al Hitmi area near the National Museum of Qatar, included lyrical performances by the students of the Tunisian School in Doha, and Tunisian classical, folk, heritage and folklore arts, and a paragraph on Tunisian traditional dress in several states.

In the same context, the Ministry of Culture hosted a similar event for the Syrian community, which included a rich programme that reflects the cultural diversity that characterises Syria.

Charge d'Affairs at the Syrian Embassy in Qatar H E Dr. Bilal Turkiya, expressed his thanks to Qatar for what it provides to Syria and its people in various humanitarian, cultural and development fields.

He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Culture for providing this opportunity and others to show the living Syrian culture and rich heritage, especially in light of this beautiful atmosphere full of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 competitions, which reap success and praise from everyone.
