Brazil, who topped the group despite defeat, will play their last 16 game against South Korea on Monday while Switzerland face Portugal the following day.
Coach Tite, as expected, made sweeping changes to Brazil squad resting nine starters from the last match against Switzerland ahead of the last-16 stage. Defender Eder Militao and midfielder Fred were the only players who were retained.
With Neymar nursing an injury watching from stands, Dani Alves became Brazil's oldest World Cup captain at the age of 39.
