(MENAFN) Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has voiced eagerness to create a mutual transport consortium with Kazakhstan as well as to start a regular RO-RO service among the ports of the two nations, as mentioned by an official with the chamber.
Behnam Faramarzian, the head of transport and TIR Carnets at ICCIMA, made the declaration in a gathering with a Kazakh trade and transport representative ruled by the nation’s Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration Kulbatyrov Nurlan Naizabekovich at the place of ICCIMA in Tehran, the ICCIMA portal mentioned in a report issued on Friday.
Giving a speech in the gathering, Naizabekovich stated that the Kazakhstan leader’s latest trip to Iran and stated “One of Kazakhstan’s main goals in the region is to develop transit cooperation with Iran.”
Talking about the aiming of three billion dollars of yearly exchange by the two nations’ administration, the deputy minister stated that: “Although the capacity of Iran’s export to Kazakhstan is very high, a small number of Iranian commodities enter Kazakhstan; However, those goods have had positive feedback among Kazakh consumers.”
