China Launches New Remote Sensing Satellite

China successfully launched a new remote sensing satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province Sunday, trend reports citing xinhua .

The Yaogan-36 satellite was lifted at 8:23 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-2D carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully.

This launch marked the 451st mission for the Long March series carrier rockets.
