Kanye West to run for US leader in 2024
(MENAFN) American rapper Kanye West has stated his strategy to run for president again in 2024 votes.
West, who lawfully changed his name to Ye, stated in a video shared on Twitter late Thursday that he negotiated his decision with previous US President Donald Trump in Florida.
The conference was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.
The rapper announced he asked the previous leader to be his running mate to become vice leader but said that Trump informed him to not run and that he would lose.
"I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was like lower on the list of things that caught him off-guard," West announced in video.
The rapper also ran for the president's office in 2020 votes.
In line with many documents, West, who ran as independent at the race, got some 60,000 votes in 12 countries.
