Raisi stats Iran views Malaysia as vital nation in Islamic world
(MENAFN) Leader Ebrahim Raisi has stated that there is a vital possibility for ties among Tehran and Kuala Lumpur in a variety of fields, mentioning that Tehran witnesses Malaysia as a vital nation in Asia and the bigger Muslim world.
Raisi made the comments in a phone discussion on Friday with Anwar Ibrahim, the newly-elected premier of Malaysia.
"Iran and Malaysia have great and diverse capabilities in the fields of economy, technology, culture, and international cooperation. Serious efforts by the two countries' officials can actualize these capabilities in accordance with the interests of the two nations," the Iranian leader commented.
For his part, Anwar declared that there is a huge possibility for Iran and Malaysia to reinforce ties in the cultural and business spheres
"We will do our utmost to raise our relations as two countries and great Islamic nations to the greatest extent possible," the Malaysian president mentioned in comments.
