Turkish shares ends Wednesday at new record peak
(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index finished the Wednesday’s session at a record peak day to day end of 4,854.16 points, surging 1.54 percent.
Opening the session at more than 4,800 points for the initial time in its history, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 73.42 points from the prior end on Wednesday.
The index also witnessed an intraday highest with an amount of 4,864.81 points, whereas its worst worth stood at 4,727.83 on Wednesday.
The overall market worth of the BIST 100 was nearly 3.9 trillion Turkish liras (USD210.8 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange volume of 120 billion Turkish liras (USD6.4 billion).
The price of one ounce of gold reached USD1,741.95, whereas Brent crude oil was nearly at USD84.95 a barrel as of 6.19 PM regional time (1519GMT).
