SRINAGAR- The District Baseball Championship organised by Srinagar District Baseball Association under My Youth My Pride Initiative of J&K Sports Council under the banner of Amateur Baseball Federation of India, concluded on Wednesday with awards distribution ceremony among the winning team of the championship.
The competitions were held from 22-11-2022 to 23-11-2022 at Gindun Sports Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar, in which 8 teams participated.
Firdous Baba, Patron J&K Baseball Association was the chief guest on the concluded function, distributed medals among the winners. Hilal Ahmad, Manager, Gindun Stadium Rajbagh, Gulzar Ahmad were Guest of Honours. Firdous Ahmad, Secretary Srinagar District Baseball Association was also present at the awards ceremony.
Appreciating the sports talent of budding players they exhibited in the event, Firdous Baba encouraged them to accord focussed attention on their game and work hard towards bringing laurels for J&K. The chief guest thanked District Srinagar Baseball Association who provided an opportunity to players of Srinagar district for participating in the said championship.
