(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) FES, Morocco, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Salem Al-Maled called for bringing up children to respect the values of civilization alliance and coexistence.
The educational curriculums need to highlight the values of civilizational communication, humanitarian fraternity, he said in his inaugural speech to the ninth international forum of civilization alliance on Tuesday in Fes city, northern Morocco.
The forum is themed 'toward alliance for peace to coexist as one humanity.'
'ICESCO is proud to have these values enshrined in its vision and strategy. This is why it launched the center of civilizational dialogue and the center for strategic foresighting as well as incubator centers for motivating the creative youth,' Al-Maled pointed out.
He noted that the organizations faces the challenge of developing a community open for the trio of justice, fraternity and equality, which is also a historical challenge for humanity.
'This trio is the way for ending the evils of ignorance, hunger and disease,' he added.
