Int'l Cyber Security Forum Kicks Off In Riyadh


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 9 (KUNA) -- The second international Cyber Security Forum kicked off Wednesday in Riyadh with the participation of 120 speakers from more than 100 countries.
On behalf of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Mayor of Riyadh Prince Faisal Bin Bandar said in his opening speech that cybersecurity is developing enormously in the face of the challenges against this vital sector.
Prince Faisal called on all partners around the world to work with the International Cyber Security Forum to reach a safe and reliable cyber universe that would enable growth and prosperity for all the peoples around the world, hoping to achieve its success and its noble goals.
The two-day forum has more than 30 dialogue sessions discussing five main themes about prospects for change in the cyber landscape, cyber economies, geo-cyber development, the future cyber security.
This forum is a global interactive platform for all stakeholders and specialists in the field of cyber security from goevernments representatives, private sectors, non-profit organizations, educational and academic circles around the world. It aims to transfer knowledge on cyber security issues and to build the foundations of cooperation between countries and organizations so it becomes a dynamic element in facing future challenges and the industry of economic development and social activities in the Kingdom and around the world.
