(MENAFN- KNN India) NPC to conduct Training for ETPs, CETPs & STPs to improve compliance

New Delhi, Oct 18 (KNN) National Productivity Council under the DPIIT is organising a two-day online training programme on Operation and Maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) from November 10, 2022.

Its objective is to help in improvement of compliance with the prescribed discharge standards, resource efficiency, water and energy conservation while operating the ETP/CETP/STP.



The course intends to build capacity of stakeholders using lectures, audio visual aids and through discussions.

Further it aims to share insights on ETPs, CETPs and STPs operation and maintenance, related statutory requirements (Discharge standards and health & safety aspects) and area of resource conservation/reuse/recycle.

This training program has been designed for personnel from academia, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), State Pollution Control Boards/Pollution Control Committees (SPCBs/PCCs), Common Treatment Facilities associations/societies, Public Sector Units, Private Organizations etc and other stakeholders involved in waste management involved in Operation and Maintenance aspect of ETP/CETP/STP.
