DUBAI, 7th October, 2022 (WAM) -- The Dubai Police Academy recently received a delegation from the Executive Office of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) to discuss enhancing cooperation.
The delegation, headed by Muhammad Jawad Shaloh, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Communication Department in the Executive Office, was welcomed by Dr. Mohammad Butti Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of Dubai Police Academy, within the framework of sharing knowledge and experience between both sides.
During the meeting, Al Shamsi discussed potential cooperation to support them with the Executive Office awareness campaigns on the threats and dangers of money-laundering and financing of terrorism by issuing academic research and studies, qualifying cadres to combat the crimes, offering educational programmes and organising workshops and seminars between the two parties.
The delegation expressed their gratitude to Dubai Police for the reception and arranged further meetings to execute the agreed topics.
