KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- President of the Kuwaiti Urological Association Dr. Dlaim Al-Hajri has participated in the 19th annual conference of the Asian Urological Society, scheduled in Sydney, Australia, on October 5-8.
Al-Hajri said in a telephone contact with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that he was among speakers at the 'Experts Opinion' symposium to discuss latest scientific findings and scientific research related to men's health surgeries and how to treat difficult cases.
He pointed out that the Urological Association in Kuwait is keen to participate in the scientific symposia, lectures and training workshops, and to present research in various international and regional conferences, noting that Kuwait is an official member in the Asian Urological Association.
He indicated that Kuwait will organize the 15th annual Kuwaiti conference in urology in cooperation with the American Society of Urology next November, expecting broad international participation.
More than 250 international lecturers and speakers specialized in urology diseases participated in the 19th annual conference of the Asian Urological Society.
The Asian Society of Urology, founded in 1990, currently has 25 Asian national associations in its membership, including Kuwait. (end)
