Kuwait Oil Rises To 97.11 Pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait oil price rose by USD 2.15 to USD 97.11 per barrel Thursday vis a vis USD 94.96 pb Wednesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Friday.
In international markets, rate of the Brent crude oil rose by USD 1.05 to USD 94.42 a barrel and the West Texas Intermediate crude climbed by 69 cents to USD 88.45 a barrel.
The new rates have been set against backdrop of the latest decision by key oil producing countries to increase the daily crude output by two million barrels per day.
Attending an OPEC+ meeting in Vienna on Wednesday where the decision had been taken, Kuwait's (former) Oil Minister Dr. Mohammad Al-Fares said the resolution would have positive impact on oil markets. (end)
