Army Chief, New Zealand Defense Minister Discuss Cooperation

Amman, Oct. 6 (Petra)-- Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Thursday, met with Zealand Defense Minister, Peeni Henare, in the presence of a number of senior officers.
Huneiti also met with the Bruneian Ambassador to Jordan. The army chief discussed with Henari and the Bruneian ambassador a wide range of issues including the joint military ties between the two friendly countries and Jordan, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and aspects of cooperation and coordination in the field of joint military training.
In this context, Huneiti met with a delegation of senior officers from the US National Defense University 'Capstone Fellows,' and discussed joint concepts for strategy related to the crises facing the Middle East region.
