(MENAFN) According to the secretary-general of Iran's Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year, the nation's home appliance exports totaled USD175 million (March 21-August 22).

This is one of the main causes and factors for the realization of production growth in industrial activities, particularly in the home appliances sector.
The production of household appliances in Iran increased 7.56 percent over the previous year during the previous Iranian calendar year 1400, which concluded on March 20.
