Iran slams conflict, sanction

(MENAFN) Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs on Tuesday said the Islamic Republic totally disagrees with conflict and related war to sanction that punish the public without distinction.

Both in conflict and sanction innocent people are abused, Ali Bagheri Kani announced in a conference with Peter Sztaray, the minister of state for security policy at Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He also stated Iran which struggled a lot throughout the eight years of Saddam Hussein’s conflict against the Islamic Republic in the 1980s and have been subjected to 40 years of restrictions convicts the conflict that “kills people indiscrimination” like restrictions which further “punishes humans indiscriminately”.

He as well declared the Hungarian foreign minister’s trip to Iran in 2021 and the second conference of the mutual commission for Iran-Hungary financial collaboration, claiming the political resolve of the officials in both nations to build up mutual relations is a strong support for tradespersons to grow commercial and financial exchanges.
