Coronavirus: UAE Reports 344 Covid-19 Cases, 322 Recoveries, No Deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 344 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 322 recoveries and no deaths.

The new cases were detected through 143, 427 additional tests.

Total active cases stand at 18,587.

The total number of cases in UAE as on October 5 are 1,029,426 while total recoveries stand at 1,008,493. The death toll now stands at 2,346.

After more than two-and-half years of Covid-19 preventive measures, social distancing guidelines and strict face mask rules, the UAE, on September 28, finally in nearly all public and indoor spaces.

Emirates and flydubai had also clarified that for passengers travelling from or transiting through the Dubai airports, the would apply throughout their journey. This means that if the final destination requires masks to be worn, the airline will ask passengers to wear a face covering.
