IRGC leader assures attacks on terrorists in Kurdistan won’t stop unless they get disarmed

(MENAFN) The Israeli regime is benefiting from anti-revolutionary bases in northern Iraq versus Iran, the leader of the IRGC ground force has stated, assuring that works versus terrorist groups are going to carry on till they are neutralized.

In a meeting issued on Monday, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour declared that the militaries under his command have struck 40 terrorist aims with tens of suicide drones.

Pakpour also stated that “Separatist elements of Komala and Democrats have made actions against our country in the past years. They sent teams to carry out terrorist activities inside our country, but most of these teams were identified and destroyed after entering the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition, from 2016 onwards, these separatist groups started to establish operational bases and training centers in the northern region of Iraq.”

He also mentioned that because of the above-mentioned activities, Iran has commonly and formally expressed its objection to the governments in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region (KRG) about the actions of these groups.
