(MENAFN) Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian declares that new messages have been sent among Tehran and Washington in an attempt to additionally line up their opinions on the recovery of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the removal of anti-Iran restrictions.
Amir Abdollahian announced this info in a phone discussion on Sunday night with the Qatari foregin minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The head Iranian diplomat stated that throughout his trip in New York for the 77th United Nations General Assembly event, the letters were exchanged via a mediator.
Tehran, as stated by Amir Abdollahian, is actively attempting to discuss a firm, long-lasting agreement.
He mentioned that his latest trip to New York gave him the opportunity to bring the viewpoints of both sides (Iran and the U.S.) closer together and that Iran believes the present state of the discussions is positive.
