(MENAFN) Average housing price surged by 1.1 percent in the capital city of Iran (Tehran) throughout the sixth Iranian calendar month Shahrivar (ended on September 22), in comparison with the prior month, as shown by a report issued from the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
In line with the CBI figures, the average price for one square meter of a housing unit in the capital reached 432.2 million rials (around USD1,543) throughout the stated month.
The average housing price in the mentioned month also jumped by 36.3 percent against the same month in the last year.
As mentioned in reports, the amount of real estate transactions reached nearly 6,000 in the capital city of Iran in the sixth month of the current Iranian year, seeing a surge of 22.9 percent in contrast with the prior month, while dropping 22.5 percent in comparison with the same month in the last year.
