Foreign ministers of Iran, Qatar hold phone conversation to discuss ties, JCPOA


(MENAFN) The phone conversation on Saturday night among the foreign ministers of Qatar with Iran concentrated around the relations among the two nations in addition to the Vienna discussion which are mainly focused on regaining the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, as mentioned in Qatar News Agency (QNA), talked about two sided ties as well as the latest improvements in the discussions to regain the JCPOA.

The chief Qatari diplomat showed his positive thoughts that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States would come to a deal to recover the nuclear settlement, which should be a fair deal to make all parties feel more at comfort.

The agreement is going to back security and steadiness in West Asia, the Arab official also stated.
