Doha: Arsene Wenger and David Beckham are among the high-profile guests for the two-day Aspire Academy's Global Summit 2022 which will get underway today.
With this year's event happening less than 50 days before Qatar hosts the World Cup, the 8th edition of the Global Summit is being organised in conjunction with FIFA at the Aspire Academy in Doha.
The two-day event will be opened with some words from FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development and ex-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
That will be followed by a the first of our 'Star Chats' at the event with are former Argentina and Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron, two-time Women's World Cup winning coach Jill Ellis and France's 1998 World Cup-winner Youri Djorkaeff.
The Global Summit will also welcome representatives from all 32 teams who will take part in the World Cup and members of the Aspire in the World Fellows, which includes some of the biggest clubs in global football, several national football associations as well as leagues.
Over the two days as well as hearing from our keynote speakers there will also be several round table discussions involving moderators and speakers from around the globe.
