(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- Tariq Al-Faraj presented his credentials as new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraqi President Barham Salih during their meeting on Sunday.
Al-Faraj said he conveyed to President Salih the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The meeting reviewed the strong bilateral relations and ways of developing them on all various levels, he told KUNA.
Al-Faraj noted that the Iraqi president asked him to convey his greetings to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, and the government and people of sisterly Kuwait.
President Salih praised the bilateral relations, wishing the new ambassador of Kuwait success in performing his duties. (end)
