DOHA/ Montreal: Minister of Transport, H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met with President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council Salvatore Sciacchitano, on the sidelines of Qatar's participation in the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly.
Held at ICAO Headquarters, the meeting reviewed ways to enhance Qatar-ICAO relations in civil aviation. They also discussed ways to contribute to research and development on reducing carbon emissions.
Qatar's Ambassador to Canada H E Dr. Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri, Director of Department of International Organizations, MoFA, H E Ambassador Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri, and Mohamed Faleh Alhajri, who is in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), attended the meeting.
The Minister of Transport also met with Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Juan Carlos Salazar, on the sidelines of Qatar's participation in the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly.
While, Qatar's transportation, air transportation and civil aviation cooperation relations with the Republic of South Sudan, the Republic of Zambia and the Gabonese Republic were reviewed when Minister of Transport , H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met with his three African counterparts on the sidelines of Qatar's participation in the 41st Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly.
H E Al Sulaiti also met with US Transportation Secretary, H E Pete Buttigieg, on the sidelines of Qatar's participation in the 41st Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly.
