(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, September 29, 2022, SPA -- The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, condemned the Iranian attacks that targeted the Iraqi Kurdistan, which violate the sovereignty of Iraq and threaten the security and stability of the region, stressing the GCC's rejection of everything that would prejudice the sovereignty, security and stability of Iraq.
This came during his meeting with the Ambassador of Iraq to the Kingdom, Dr. Abdulsattar Al-Janabi, today in Riyadh.
Dr. Al-Hajraf stressed the importance of strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation between the GCC and Iraq to serve the common interests. During the meeting, they tackled a number of issues of common interest as well as a number of issues of common interest.
