Council Of Arab Businesswomen Hopes To Achieve Economic Goals


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- President of the Council of Arab Businesswomen (CABW) Sheikha Dr Hessa Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah on Thursday expressed her hope in the council to achieve its goal in supporting women economically.
This came during her speech in the opening ceremony of seventh session of CABW in the Arab League headquarters, with the presence of the General secretary Ahmad Abul Ghait and the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri.
She also expressed her hope that this year would be filled with achievements, further progress and continuous efforts and handwork in overcoming any obstacles caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past three years.
She added that the presence of the General Secretary and the Egyptian Foreign Minister adds to the session more strength, adding that their participation in this occasion gives a moral motive to the council.
The opening ceremony showed a documentary that highlights the past 23 years of the council's journey, with the participation of the Assistance Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector, Dr. Haifa Abu-Ghazalah, and several members of the council. (end)
