Amman, Sep 28 (Petra)-- Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Zaher Qatarneh, on Wednesday met with the Qatar Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) CEO, Sheikh Ali bin Al-Waleed Al-Thani, on ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
The two parties agreed to sign a joint cooperation agreement in investment promotion, and to hold a Jordanian-Qatari investment forum in both countries, aimed at promoting investment opportunities and the business environment, in addition to linking the Jordanian private sector and its Qatari counterpart, a ministry statement said Wednesday.
The meeting between the two sides was held in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Doha, on the sidelines of Qatarneh's visit to Doha, who chaired a high-level delegation from Jordan, with the aim of preparing to discuss arrangements for the Kingdom's participation in the Horticultural Doha Expo 2023.
