(MENAFN) Italy came at the top of their UEFA Nations League A - Group 3 match Monday to move forward to the European football competition's finals.
Italian attacker Giacomo Raspadori got the opening goal versus Hungary in the 27th minute at Budapest's Puskas Arena, and then was followed with Federico Dimarco’s goal to which ended in the far post as Italy made the lead 2-0 in the second half.
Italy, which won over Hungary 2-0 in the away match, collected 11 points in six games to set at the top of League A - Group 3.
The Netherlands and Croatia earlier held a spot in the finals after winning their League A groups.
One of Portugal or Spain is going to reserve the remaining berth for the semi-final stage on Tuesday.
Portugal is going to play against Spain in Braga to finish the group stage in the 2022-23 Nations League.
The four League A group forefronts are going to play in the semis which is set to happen on June 14-15, 2023, while the final and the third-place playoff is going to be played on the 18th of June.
