Royal specialist: Queen Elizabeth II died of "broken heart"

(MENAFN) According to a royal expert, Queen Elizabeth II died of a "broken heart" after her husband, Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, died in April 2021. They had been married for 74 years.

Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, told Entertainment Tonight that the Queen "ultimately died of a broken heart," and that the monarch was never the same after Philip's death.

"Elizabeth wouldn't be the Queen that she was without the support of Philip. He supported her in everything she did in life. Something in her died when he went," Katie Nicholl asserted.

In a private ceremony attended by only royal family members, Prince Philip's coffin was interred along with Queen Elizabeth II's.

“The Queen had everything planned,” Katie Nicholl added.

Queen Elizabeth II was buried privately at George VI Memorial Chapel. Following the state funeral at Westminster Abbey and the committal service in Windsor, the burial took place.
