Russia school shooting number of deaths reaches 13


(MENAFN) According to national officials, the dead toll from a shooting at a school in the Russian city of Izhevsk has increased to 13, including seven children.

The event also injured another 21, including 14 minors, according to the Russian Investigative Committee.

Regional governor Alexander Brechalov claimed in a video message that the as-yet-unidentified shooter killed himself after going on the rampage.

The Investigative Committee claimed that the shooter was sporting a black t-shirt with "Nazi emblems." The shooter's identity and motivations remain a mystery. Izhevsk, a city in central Russia with a population of over 640,000, is situated west of the Ural Mountains.
