The 2022 European Championships are locked in and ready to go following team check-in. Athletes from the participating nations made their way to the Bella Italia Efa Village to register ahead of the tournament kicking off.
There are 267 entries across junior (18-20) and senior (21+) with each round taking place over the next five days. The host nation Italy has brought a team of twenty four in total. Ukraine have come in numbers, and are the largest team in the competition with thirty athletes.

The opening day will see a high level opener between Ireland's Conor McCarthy and Wales standout Alex Gill. Bulgarian youth standout Viktor Ivanov takes on Wales' Jamie Taylor in the junior lightweight division.
The largest team of the tournament, Ukraine, has twelve representatives competing across the day. While host nation, Italy, has ten athletes hoping to impress in their home country.
