Doha: QLM Life & Medical Insurance Company has announced its participation with Sidra Medicine in the annual Flagship Research Conference titled 'Precision Medicine & Functional Genomics 2022' (PMFG 2022), which took place from September 23-26 in Doha.
The conference was a four-day in-person, on-site event and revolved around two major themes — 'How cellular, organoid, and animal models are being used to facilitate the discovery of basic disease mechanisms and potential cures' and 'The development of advanced therapies to treat diseases'.
The conference assembled a unique and highly interdisciplinary international community to provide novel insights on the molecular mechanisms underlying genetic diseases and the strategies used to develop advanced therapies.
