(MENAFN) A gunman murdered 13 people, including seven children, and injured 21 other people in a school in central Russia on Monday, according to experts.
Russia's Investigative Committee stated the gunfire happened in a school in Izhevsk, a city about 960 kilometers (600 miles) east of Moscow in the Udmurtia region. Those injured were 14 children and 7 adults, in agreement with the Committee.
It also said that the invader “committed suicide.”
As said by investigators, “he was wearing a black top with Nazi symbols and a balaclava” and was not carrying any ID.
“His identity is currently being established,” investigators added.
Russia’s interior ministry went on to declare there were about 20 people hurt in the invasion.
The region’s governor Alexander Brechalov announced there were “casualties and wounded among children,” talking in a video declaration outside school No88 in Izhevsk.
