Massive crowd of people invades streets of Tehran to condemned rioters’ actions

(MENAFN) Massive rallies of people on Sunday invaded the streets in Tehran to criticize lethal violent actions and violation of Islamic sanctities by protesters through the last week.

The huge amount of rioters who joined on Revolution Square took all by surprise. As stated by the Tasnim news agency, the protests overextended from Imam Hussein Square.

The crowds were in reply by rioters who have been benefiting from the murder of a young woman in police custody as an excuse to let out their rage over security forces and commit actions of disruption.

Head officers, such as IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami as well as Police Head Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari, joined in the protests.

General Ashtari, whose police have been aimed at by violent rioters, was kindly greeted by the crowd.

Protestors sang slogans in contradiction of rioters, the U.S., Israel as well as Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), an anti-Iran terrorist group, that in line with others have been attempting to inflame riots.
