Beirut, Sep 24 (Petra) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati Saturday said that the demarcation of the maritime borders between Lebanon and Israel is progressing, 'but the final solution has not been achieved yet.'
Mikati noted in a press statement that the American mediation between Lebanon and Israel led by the American envoy, Amos Hochstein, 'helped to push for the completion of the demarcation, but there are still details that should be clarified.'
He praised the U.S. mediation in support of the agreement, noting that 'President Biden's administration is doing its utmost to make these negotiations a success.'
