Eight Civilians Killed In Enemy Shelling In Dnipropetrovsk Region Over Past Week


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past week, eight civilians were killed and 23 others were injured in Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of enemy shelling.

Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, said at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

'Since last Friday, the Russian occupation forces have launched about fifty attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region. Four missiles, two kamikaze drones (Iranian drones of the Shahed-type.) were fired at Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih. They also shelled communities with heavy artillery,' he said.

Over the past day, eight people were killed, 23 more were injured. More than 150 houses and commercial buildings, 9 educational, sports and cultural institutions were damaged.

Currently, the Kryvyi Rih, Synelnykove and Nikopol districts are suffering the most from the occupation forces.

As reported, the day before in Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian forces struck a warehouse where 1,300 tonnes of grain were stored.
