(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian military have shot down Russia's Su-25 assault aircraft and six Shahed-136 suicide drones over the past day.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On September 23, 2022, in the eastern and southern directions, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian-manufactured Shahed-136 suicide drones,” the report states.
As of 06:30 p.m., the Ukrainian air defense missile units shot down six suicide drones.
In addition, the Air Force's anti-aircraft gunners destroyed Russia's Su-25 assault aircraft in southern Ukraine.
