Amman, Sept. 21 (Petra)- The State Security Court (SSC) handed a death term to killer of Lit. Ahmad Rawahneh of Anti-Narcotics Department (AND).
As for the two accomplices, the first was sentenced to temporary temporary hard labor for a 15-year period, while the other received a 7 and a-half -year jail term for their involvement in the crime that took place in the northern city of Irbid.
The SSC, during a public session, held Wednesday, also decided to fine the third defendant an amount of JD5,000 on charges related to promoting narcotics and 'medical' substances.
As per the trial documents, Rawahneh was killed on duty in Irbid, and another AND agent was injured.
