JTB-Sponsored Chartered Flight Brings 189 Polish Tourists To Aqaba

Amman, Sep. 20 (Petra) -- A Polish charter plane carrying 189 tourists landed on Tuesday at the King Hussein International Airport in the southern city of Aqaba.
Nayef Hamidi Al-Fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, emphasized the significance of this step in luring more tourist flights and boosting tourism in the Kingdom, according to a statement by the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB).
Director General of JTB Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat stated that the arrival of Polish tourists, which is supported by JTB, was a result of collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Aqaba Authority, and the relevant tourism companies.
Nidal Al Majali, the ASEZA Commissioner for Tourism and Environment, stated that charter flights would guarantee a robust tourist industry in Aqaba.
