Qatar Residents With GCC Licence Can Appear For Direct Driving Test

Qatar residents with valid driving licence from any of the GCC countries can register for direct driving test in the country without registering for driving courses, a senior official from the General Directorate of Traffic has said.
While speaking to Qatar TV, First Lieutenant Mohamed al-Amri from the General Directorate of Traffic said that residents with GCC driving licence can appear for direct driving test.
“They can convert their licences immediately. GCC nations visiting Qatar can drive in Qatar for up to three months from their arrival date. They should carry proof of the date of entry to Qatar and their passport or entry visa details always,” he explained.
