BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Ministry of
Energy of Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (EBRD) are planning to sign a memorandum on mutual
understanding on technical support for the development of the
energy sector, Trend reports via Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan
Parviz Shahbazov's Twitter account.
'We had fruitful discussions with President of EBRD Odile
Renaud-Basso on the financial support for the expansion of the
South-Gas corridor (SGC) and the priorities for our multifaceted
cooperation on 'green' energy. The Ministry and EBRD are planning
to sign a memorandum on mutual understanding on technical support
for the development of the energy sector,' Shahbazov stated.
